how messages plays it

Apple documented direct-MP4 rich previews inTN3156andTech Talk 205 — Ensuring Beautiful Rich Links (21 December 2017). Put a short downloadable H.264 file in og:video; Messages downloads it and can autoplay muted. That path works across Apple Messages on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Vision Pro — not a private API.

Slack, Android Messages, Instagram DMs and TikTok DMs still show the still for most sites. The contract that asks them to play the same mute-loop is the informational IETF draftdraft-staffer-link-preview-media-00(read before submit).

root to crown

On this page the seven chakra symbols draw in stroke by stroke, then morph into the next — Root through Crown — while optional on-device tones sound at 396 → 963 Hz. Nothing leaves the device. The OG motion twin carries the same climb for the chat bubble.
